Mr. Cort, a solicitor of Leicester, is accused of killing his business partner Vina Patel. He is suspected of hiring a hit man who made it look like an accident. The court was told that Mr. Cort was very short on money, he had a debt of £171,000. To get more money he stole from his clients and Mrs. Patel discovered that. To silence her and claim the business insurance of her life he got rid of her. Suspicion rose when the jury heard that this business insurance of her life was increased to £1.5 million in the weeks before Mrs. Patel's death. The trial still continues...
I thought these things only happened in films. It really concerns me that in a trustworthy company like this with people who are constantly busy with laws and judgements a murder happens. If you can not trust these people, who can you trust in this world of seduction, corruption and murder? I think it would be a good idea to get a closer inspection on big businesses like these. Politicians should do something about these scandals. The ordinary people should be protected from these stealing bastards who are living the good life. They apparently think that they are above the law and that must stop as soon as possible!
